Conveyancing Cottage - CBC Lawyers | Conveyancers Townsville

CBC Lawyers operates a dedicated conveyancing team known as Conveyancing Cottage. The firm is family and locally owned and has over 60 years of combined legal experience. It services North Queensland, including Townsville, Mt Isa, and the Burdekin. Conveyancing services are provided, with settlement managed via PEXA. The team conducts title searches, council and planning searches, flood and zoning checks, contaminated land searches, and body corporate searches. Contracts are reviewed and legal advice is provided.

The firm coordinates with banks, mortgage brokers, and real estate agents, and ensures compliance with Queensland property law. It deals with flood zoning and historical flood mapping, cyclone building compliance requirements, coastal and waterway proximity issues, body corporate complexities in Strand and CBD apartments, Townsville City Council planning overlays, and regional lender requirements. The same conveyancer and assistant work with clients from start to finish.
