I did not initially realise that Provey operates as a directory of conveyancers rather than a single firm with an in-house team. Prior to engaging, I outlined my circumstances and expectations, noting that while I was not new to property purchases, it was my first time buying in Victoria and I was seeking guidance throughout the process. While the allocated conveyancer completed the required tasks, I often needed to follow up on my own correspondence. Given the financial and emotional significance of property transactions, I had expected a more proactive and client-focused approach. Provey’s workflow system is well structured, with clear information on processes and fees. However, a more personalised, responsive service would improve the overall experience.
